About The Artist

BA(hons), MA(RCA)

Having studied Three Dimensional Design in the UK I taught the same subject in tertiary colleges in Britain for thirteen years, travelling extensively during the holidays. Four of those trips brought me to NZ, where I visited colleges to see how design was taught here. These visits resulted in the offer of a job in the Jewellery Department of Nelson Polytechnic. After six years more teaching I started a business of my own, but not related to design. Five years later, enough was enough, and a desire to return to a creative field finds me painting, using inspiration gleaned from a long held interest in all aspects of classic motoring.
