In 1962 Alfa Romeo introduced a new six cylinder coupe based on the new 2600 Saloon and Spider, the 2600 Sprint. The Sprint was a full four seater coupe with an attractive body design. The 2.6 litre engine came with triple carburetors and produced over 145bhp. Rare in RHD this car has had recent engine work and runs well. $24,500

207 manufactured in RHD, and 66 in 1973. Bodies were supplied by Karmann, and trimmed neatly - if not luxuriously - with quality materials in the German manner. The original 2.8 engine was enlarged to 3.0 litres in 1971, then given Bosch D-Jetronic fuel injection for still more power producing 200hp with a top speed of 137 mph.
